Heather Janik, MD is a board certified emergency physician who recently joined LSPCA after working in a variety of hospital settings, both locally and across the state of New York. She has experience in urban, suburban, rural and pediatric emergency departments. Dr. Janik enjoys treating patients of all ages with acute medical needs.

Dr. Janik is a graduate of the University at Buffalo Biological Sciences BA program. She received her medical degree from the University at Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences in 2008. Subsequently, Dr. Janik completed a three year residency through the UB Department of Emergency Medicine, where she trained at Buffalo General Hospital, Erie County Medical Center, and Children’s Hospital of Buffalo.
